1. Who we are
Good Fruit is an offline-first Bible study app for iOS. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Good Fruit and its developer.
2. What we collect
When you create an account we collect:
- Email address
- First and last name (optional display name)
- Encrypted password (stored and managed by Supabase Auth)
We do not collect payment information, precise location, contacts, or any sensitive personal data.
3. How we use your data
- To authenticate you and sync your reading progress across devices
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
- To respond to support requests you initiate
4. Scripture content
All Bible text is bundled locally inside the app. No verse lookups or reading activity are transmitted to any server.
5. Data storage
Account data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the United States. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data until you delete your account. After deletion, data is purged within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@goodfruitapp.com. You can also delete your account directly in the app under More → Account.
8. Children
Good Fruit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
